At today’s sonogram, they said that the placenta was starting to break down, and as it continues to break down, the bloodflow through the umbilical cord could become compromised, meaning the babies won’t get enough oxygen or nutrients. So, I should have a C-Section as early as Friday. Also, Baby A only measured to be 5 lbs 1 oz, while Baby B is 5 lbs 9 oz. Bummer…. I was hoping to avoid a C-Section. Just last week, the high-risk OB said that everything was going so well and I had reached a point where I could consider a natural birth. Well, it’s in God’s hands–he knows when and how the boys are going to come, so I’m not going to worry about it!
