1 month late, but this is the final party post–Here are the game winners and prizes!! (People were kind enough to take pictures at home and send them to me). The prizes were Star Wars themed candy things, much more appealing than a Thomas the train prize. It’s because they were born on Star Wars day; it’s not completely random. I thought about giving out copies of “Atlas Shrugged” as prizes, but six copies would have been too much to spend… and I didn’t want to explain the relevance over and over: “Atlas Shrugged” is about TRAINS, which is the theme of the party, get it? mm-hmm….
Winner (after Ah-Poh and Ivy) for Game #1: Doubletake: Is it Teddy or Timmy? (Light-up red light saber)
Winner for Game #2: Twin Trivia (light-up blue light saber)
Winners for Game #3: Career Raffle (candy light sabers)
Winners for Game #4: Guess Baby’s Weight (Storm Trooper and Darth Vader Candy Dispensers)
Side note about Game 4: Twelve days after the party, the weigh-in at the pediatrician’s office was just shy of the birthday weigh-in (which was done fully diapered and clothed). Teddy was 20.1 lbs, and Timmy was 20.3 lbs! Teddy has really closed the gap, since he was almost a whole pound lighter at the 10 month checkup!! Car seats are definitely forward facing now (criteria: 1 yr and 20 lbs)
“These are not the twins you are looking for,” says my young padawan. Keep trying, Teddy. Jedi mind tricks don’t work on Mommy!
