A few days ago, we went to the Spray Park in Franconia. It was overcast and rainy, but the forecast showed a small window without rain, so we made the most of it! It was now or never, because it’s only open through Labor Day and I wanted to take Sarah because it was by her old stomping grounds. Pete met us during his lunch break, since it’s only a few miles from his work!
Great size, not crowded, lots of fun! // “My Buoys” awwwwww….
This time, the two busloads of camp kids arrived as we were leaving, and they actually played in the spray park while it was raining! Chinese ma says it’s perfect way to catch cold!! Next, we went to the National Inventors Hall of Fame and Museum in Alexandria. The current exhibition was “Exercising Ingenuity: Inventions in Health and Fitness.” Here I am on a Nautilus machine for the abs. Too bad they didn’t have a vibrating belt machine that I could try out! (My right eye was swollen due to a bug bite, not because of the machine.)
