Christmas and Zoolights

Merry Christmas!  I was at Michaels and saw the easel on sale for $20 (originally $60), so I “had” to buy it on the way out.

Christmas presents!  JLin “sleep sack” jerseys from Uncle Josh (I’m going to have to do some sewing to get them to fit!)  I had originally wanted to go early to the zoo to see animals in the daylight, but the guys got caught up in felling trees and chopping wood in the backyard.  It was a warm December night, about 50 degrees, so by the time we arrived the zoo parking lot was full and we had to park and walk from a mile away!

There were adorable Gin-grr-bread tiger habitats, a big train, and Christmas trees at the Visitors Center.

Most of the animals in the mammal house were hiding and sleeping, but we finally spotted a bird and a sloth.

 Look at the lights!

Wow, look at those lights!!  TNT had a long dance party in the stroller while watching a lights show…again…..and again.  The recently crazy-glued stroller wheel broke off again on the very bumpy walk back to the car.  Not to worry, I’ve re-glued it since and it’s holding up fine!
