Jan 18: Our first time going to library storytime at Rockville Library. It was pretty crowded on a Saturday morning and most of the kids were bigger than ours.
The boys were pretty clingy but the finger puppets lured Teddy to the front by the end of the session.
Jan 29: I decided the boys weren’t a big flight risk, so I’d try to go to storytime at Quince Orchard Library by myself. Then my mom came along, yay! 🙂 Timmy’s making moose antlers at the moose in the book.
Feb 12 (and beyond): Our group grows with the addition of my dad and our friends. (means an empty lap for me!) It’s so nice to have somewhere to go with all this snow on the ground. Playing with scarves and balls at the end is a big hit with the toddlers. Storytime at the libraries has become a part of our schedule; between that and music class, we now get out regularly!
Snuggling up to a concert on TV at Ah-Poh and Ah-Gong’s house. I think they watched part of a violin concerto and part of a piano concerto. They can imitate playing the guitar, violin, and cello (after Caleb and my Dad played it for them at the Chinese New Year party) with sound effects: high for violin and low for cello, complete with squatting.
