This is such a late and long-overdue post….I was making a Hawaii scrapbook through Shutterfly for the past two months (they’ve stopped napping, so I don’t get a lot of time to do…anything).  I had a free offer from Pampers, so there was an actual deadline, thank goodness!  It finally arrived yesterday and is exactly what I had hoped!  Anyway, here are some Christmas doings:

face painting-ted face painting

Face Painting (first time!) at MOPS playgroup.  They sat very still but smiled for me in between brush strokes.

luminaries caroling

Making a really neat project: luminaries (first time using glue sticks) at the community holiday party, and Caroling with neighbors.

Here are some Christmas traditions that we’ve settled on:

1-Angel Tree

Buying clothes and toys and packing a bag for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree.  I picked a 2-year old boy to make it more relate-able for T&T.

Hanging ornaments

Reading the Christmas story over brunch

A few stocking stuffers on Christmas morning

5-binoculars 6-headlamp

(what was in the stockings)  We won’t miss a thing with these binoculars and headlamps!

Baby Jesus makes it to the world on Christmas morning!

Making Jesus a “Happy Birthday cake” and singing to him (the apple cake had so little sugar that it was more like apple bread…fooled everyone!)

10-lights 11-lights

Winter Lights!  This year we did the drive-through one at Seneca Creek State Park.

Looking at the lights from  under the tree like Daddy always did growing up 🙂

Family PJs, this year with the Hawaii vacation theme of sea turtles and snorkeling.  That’s right, Mommy did not get camo PJ pants for herself.  And yes (take a closer look at Mommy’s shirt), we’re expecting #3!  This picture was taken a month after Christmas; had to wait until the baby bump started to show.
